Label Studio Enterprise integrates with Anthropic through the Prompts interface so you can call Claude models directly on your project data. Once you configure Anthropic as a model provider, Claude variants appear alongside OpenAI, Gemini, and Vertex in the Base model dropdown, letting you generate annotations, iterate on prompts, and evaluate outputs against ground truth inside Label Studio.

With this connection, you can:

• Pre-label tasks using Claude models and write results into project controls
• Use real project data to refine prompt templates before you scale up
• Compare Anthropic outputs with other providers while keeping your workflow in one place

How Label Studio Connects with Anthropic in Prompts

Label Studio treats Anthropic as a first-class model provider in the Prompts and evaluation flow. When you create a Prompt that uses Anthropic:

• You select Anthropic as the provider and choose a Claude model in the Base model dropdown
• The Prompts UI sends your selected tasks, prompt template, and model choice to the Enterprise backend
• The backend calls Anthropic’s API with your key and runtime parameters, then receives structured outputs
• Label Studio writes those outputs back into your project as predictions or shows them in the Response panel
• You can review results, adjust the prompt, and reuse the same Prompt for pre-labeling or evaluations at scale

From a project perspective, Anthropic is just another base model that powers your Prompt; the mapping from prompt to JSON results to annotations is handled by the Prompts stack.
